The Air Jordan 3 GS Retro '88' is an elementary school shoe that nods to the iconic dunk from Michael Jordan's free throw line at the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the event, the OG colorway came out the sale at 3:51 p.m., the exact time Jordan took off from the foul line, and was also the first retro Jordan 3 to bear Nike Air branding on the heel since 1994.
