The Queens native's work as creative director of the brand's Made In USA program has been widely praised, landing styles like the 990v2 on sneaker wish lists. Released in 1998, the New Balance 990v2 has enjoyed a cult following for decades. In recent times, the ABZORB cushioned silhouette has helped the likes of Ronnie Fieg continue to expand their relationship with the Boston institution. Santis' second season at the helm of the New Balance Made In USA brand will offer at least one more understated version of this 24-year-old design. Olive pigskin suede is paired with contrasting tan tones around the heel. Cushioning and traction solutions underfoot keep it simple in black and white tones, allowing the upper to take center stage.
